This KOA was Very Clean! Park has nice private campsites overlooking woods. Bath house was very clean and had soft music playing all the time. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They deliver fire wood right to your site. Close to Old Mans Cave and other attractions. Close to everything! If you have kids they won't go without entertainment. They have Hayrides, Mining Through, and other fun activities planned for the little ones. All the sites were very well maintained and had plenty of gravel and terra cotta stone that looks very appealing. I will be returning!

Camped here and had a great time. Very Clean pool. Friendly staff. A lot of permanant trailers but very clean and friendly. Close to lots of antique shows. Baths were dated but clean. Fishing pond was small but had some bass and huge carp.(fun to catch) Activities daily on weekends. I would camp here again.

We spend 2 weeks on the road and this campground stands out the most. We had so much fun here. This was very scenic. They had wild life everywhere. Moose in the River, Bear in an open field. This park was extremely clean and well cared for. The bathrooms were very clean and the camp store was always stocked with everything I needed. The staff was very friendly. It was very easy for me to maneuver around. If I had a motorhome or fifth wheel would want a site closer to the store. I drove all the way from Toledo, Ohio and can't wait to come back someday. This is by far the most Scenic campground I have ever been. They also have tons of trails close by with waterfalls everywhere. You will not be disappointed.

This KOA was excellent. They had the cleanest lake I have ever seen! Crystal clear water and they must groom the sand. The Bathrooms were flawless. I saw a cleaning crew going around on a golf cart all day long. Staff was very friendly. They always had fun activities for the kids including water slide, Swimming, outdoor pool tables, put-put golf, wagon rides, game rooms and more. If you didn't feel like cooking you could even order a pizza from there snack bar. The only negative thing I have to say is that they had several loud speaker announcements which could get annoying especially when I was trying to catch an afternoon nap. Other than that I will definitely be coming back.

This was a very nice campground. Very clean restrooms. The campground was a bit noisy in the lower number sites 100-200. If you book a site in the 300-400 range the noise is greatly reduced. There is a highway which runs right next to the camp. The airport isn't very far away but I only heard a couple of flights. The beach was very nice. The camp volunteers were very helpful. I was a bit disappointed about having to spend another $30 bucks on a Michigan parks seasonal pass or $8 a day. There are 3 or 4 restroom/shower buildings. The last one is the newest but has long lines in the morning. I walked down to the older ones and didn't have to wait at all. They were all very clean. This is a great place to set up camp and see the town. Went to Sleeping bear dunes and it was only about a 30 minute scenic drive. Downtown is only about 5 miles away...Bring your Credit Card! Lots of cool art shops. Happy Camping!
